Cline 50th Anniversary

Alton Barnes Cline and Amanda Jones Cline celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 27, 2011, with family and friends at a renewal of their wedding vows conducted by Rev. John Tucker at Lebanon Lutheran Church. A reception followed.
The Clines were married Sept. 2, 1961, at Lebanon Lutheran  Church by the Rev. Donald R. Deal. Alton retired from Crowder Constr. Co. of Charlotte after 30 years due to a work injury, and Amanda worked at Cannon Mills and the VA Medical Center. She earned her nursing degree in 1991 and retired from nursing in 2009.
The Clines’ children are Michael Ray Cline and wife Jill  (grandchildren Caitlyn, Casey and Cara) of Cleveland; Penny Cline Gullett and husband Doug (grandchildren Allen and Susan) of Salisbury; and Tracy Cline Winecoff and husband Everette (granddaughter Jordan) of Salisbury.
