A 41-year-old man has been taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on Faith Road.
The driver was traveling toward Faith when he apparently lost control and ran off the road, hitting several trees, the N.C. State Highway Patrol said. The black Volkswagen Jetta came to rest facing the opposite direction near Heilig Road.
The man was pinned inside the vehicle, according to emergency radio communications. Rescue squad members freed the man and he was taken by ambulance to Rowan Regional Medical Center.
