Penley Anniversary

Donald Lee Penley Sr. and Brenda Ann Fesperman Penley of Mount Ulla celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception held Feb. 18, 2012, at Back Creek Presbyterian Church. They were married Feb. 17, 1962, at Back Creek by the Rev. Allan Wells.
Donald retired after more than 40 years as an electrician, and Brenda is semi-retired working as a childcare provider and in food preparation management.
Their children are Donny Penley Jr. (Lisa), Mount Ulla; Gerri Penley Martin (Rafael), Dobson; Michelle Penley Brown, Raleigh; Todd Penley (Heather), Mooresville; and Deborah Penley Miller (Bruce), Atlanta, Ga. They also have 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
