Milem Anniversary

Ray and Frances Milem of Kannapolis celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family on Feb. 18, 2012, at a party at Gary’s BBQ. They were married Feb. 23, 1947, by the Rev. Walter Goodman at First Presbyterian Church in Kannapolis. Today they are happy to celebrate life, love and family.
They both retired from Cannon Mills, are World War II Army veterans and are still very active in First Presbyterian Church. The Milems have four children, Jim Milem of China Grove, Jerry Milem of Salisbury, Joe Milem of Kannapolis and Zeta Pittman of Charlotte. They also have 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
