Fries – Smith

Randy and Janet Bingham of Rockwell and Todd Fries of Gold Hill are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Claire Fries, to William Patrick Smith of Salisbury.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Wayne Morgan and Peggy Cranford, Terry and Sheila Fries and the late Susan Morgan, all of Salisbury. A 2008 honor graduate of East Rowan High School, Rachel will graduate in May 2012 from Catawba College with a degree in Elementary Education.
The future groom is the son of Bill and Pat Smith of Salisbury. He is the grandson of Lorene and the late C.P. Barringer and the late William and Bobbie Jean Smith, all of Salisbury. A 2004 graduate of West Rowan High School, Patrick graduated from North Carolina State University in 2007 with a degree in horticulture. He is self-employed with Bingham Smith Lumber.
The couple will marry May 27, 2012, at Saratoga Springs in Mount Pleasant.
