Rector – Mowry

David and Gail Rector of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Elizabeth Rector, to Allen Glenn Mowry of Gold Hill.
Laura is the granddaughter of Theodore and Esther “Dollie” Rector of Salisbury and Martha and the late Robert B. Deal of Woodleaf. A 2005 graduate of West Rowan High School, Laura graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009. She is employed by Wingate by Wyndham in Concord.
Allen is the son of Ramona and the late Paul Mowry; the grandson of the late Glenn and Grace Heilig; and the stepgrandson of Rachel and the late Dr. Eugene Mowry and the late June Mowry, all of Salisbury. A 2004 graduate of West Rowan High School, Allen is employed by Davita.
The wedding is May 12 at Cauble Creek Vineyard in Salisbury.
