Thieves take copper piping from Mahaley Avenue home

SALISBURY — Thieves broke into a Mahaley Avenue home this week and stole copper piping from the basement, authorities said.
According to a Salisbury Police report, officers found the rear basement door at 625 Mahaley Ave. had been forced open and copper piping that ran along the ceiling was missing.
The report said about $2,200 worth of piping was taken.
The house was being remodeled, the report said. It was reported Wednesday morning.
