ROCKWELL — Emergency crews have called in a helicopter to transport a man to the hospital after he was kicked in the head by a horse.
A supervisor at Rowan County communications said crews were landing air transport near Eller Road and Emanuel Church Road.
Emergency radio communications indicated the man was bleeding from the head. Crews were dispatched in reference to a traumatic injury.
