Shelby Harwood, left, and Joan Creeger heard a loud bang and walked outside to see hail Saturday. ‘It looks like it only hit my yard,’ said Creeger, who added this was like the snow we’ve all been waiting for that never came over the winter. Hail was reported farther east near High Rock Lake and into Davidson County in Lexington as the severe thunderstorm roared through the area.
