Rusher – Lyerly

Ed and Margaret Rusher of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Marla Kerr Rusher, to Chace Lee Lyerly, both of Clemmons.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen Rusher and the late Mr. George E. Rusher Jr. of Salisbury and the late Mr. Harold Cole Moore and Mrs. Mary Moore Moss of Swannanoa. A 2005 honor graduate of East Rowan High School, Marla graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. She is a Credit Analysis Team Leader at BB&T in Winston-Salem.
The future groom is the son of Junior and Kathy Lyerly of Salisbury. He is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy and the late Mr. Roman “Bert” Starnes of Spencer and the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Lyerly of Salisbury. A 2005 graduate of East Rowan High School, Chace graduated with a degree in Communication Media from North Carolina State University in 2010 and with a Business Administration degree from the NCSU Poole College of Management in 2011. Chace is a manager at General Nutrition Center in Greensboro.
The couple will marry September 22 at First United Methodist Church in Salisbury followed by a reception at Childress Vineyards in Lexington.
