Grandparents are Linda and Paul Rogers, Judy Sides and Mimi and Pepe Geter, all of Salisbury, and the late Johnny Gilbert.

A daughter, Margaret Wallace, was born to Charles and Dana Upchurch of Charlottesville, Va., on February 7, 2012, at University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville. She weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces. She has a sister, Catherine, 3. Grandparents are Frank and Katherine Freda of Williamsburg, Va., Mike and Nancy Wallace Dunham of Salisbury and the late Malcolm Upchurch. Great-grandparents are Franklin and Gloria Freda of Newport News, Va.
Jadyn Lewis
A daughter, Jadyn Jo, was born to Marissa Higgins and Scottie Lewis of Salisbury on March 21, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.
