Dearmon 70th Anniversary

Norris Adam Dearmon and Dorothy Pethel Dearmon of Kannapolis celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary April 4, 2012. A dinner with family was held in their honor March 27 at Porky’s Restaurant in China Grove.
The Dearmons were married April 4, 1942, at Kimball Lutheran Church in Kannapolis by the Rev. J.L. Norris. Both retired, Mr. Dearmon was a systems analyst with Cannon Mills for 43 years, and Mrs. Dearmon was a financial secretary with A.L. Brown High School for 18 years.
Their children are Mark Dearmon of Raleigh, Teresa Erwin of Kannapolis, Connie Long of Durham and Eric Dearmon of Kannapolis. They have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
