Mooresville man gets high bond on drug charges

MOORESVILLE — About 4 ounces of high grade marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several weapons were seized from a Mooresville man’s home during the execution of a state search warrant.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has charged Andy Jerome Bowers, 35, of West N.C. 152 with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, maintaining a dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He also faces failure to appear and comply in a Mecklenburg County matter.
Bowers is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under a nearly $67,000 secured bond.
