SALISBURY — Swirl It Up, Salisbury’s second self-serve frozen yogurt shop, has opened in the Innes Street Market on Faith Road.
Angela and Mike Allen, who live between China Grove and Enochville, opened the shop Wednesday. Next to Capriano’s and near Lowe’s, Swirl It Up features 12 flavors of yogurt with six twists and more than 80 toppings.
Not a franchise or chain, Swirl It Up is locally owned and operated. The Allens came up with the name and logo, and customers will vote for three local charities to split $1,000 four times a year.
