Miller – Cline
Megan Roxann Miller of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Matt Garriet Cline of Gold Hill were united in marriage Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Union Lutheran Church. The 4 p.m. ceremony was followed by a reception at Rowan Shriners Club.
The bride was escorted by her father, Harold Miller, and attended by Amy Shepherd of Salisbury as maid of honor. Her bridesmaids included her sister, Monica Harris of Guyton, Ga., Jill Teeter of Gold Hill and Tiffany Love of Lexington. Niece of the bride Breanna Harris of Guyton, Ga., served as junior bridesmaid.
Rodney Cline stood as his son’s best man. Groomsmen included grandfather of the groom Robert Liles of Troy, Micheal Hodgson of Salisbury and Travis Ketchie of Gold Hill.
Brittany Harris of Guyton, Ga., niece of the bride, and Caylea Cline of Gold Hill, niece of the groom, served as flower girls. Nephew of the groom Devin Cline of Gold Hill was ring bearer.
Acolytes were Alex Miller and Alexis Miller of Salisbury. Guest registrars were Tiffany Burney and Samantha Allen of Salisbury.
The bride is the daughter of Harold and Donnell Miller and the granddaughter of Virginia and the late Junius Miller and Ruth and the late Clifford Shepherd, all of Salisbury. A 2002 graduate of East Rowan High School, Megan received a degree in Animal Care and Management from Alamance Community College in 2009. She is employed by Brookgreen Gardens in Murrels Inlet, S.C.
The groom is the son of Rodney and Wanda Cline of Gold Hill and the grandson of Robert and Cindy Liles of Troy, Joan and the late Elmer Lee Cline of Gold Hill and the late Sylvia Turner. A 2002 graduate of East Rowan High School, Matt completed his Firefighter I and II certification at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College. He is employed by McKenzie Sports Products.
Following a wedding trip to Dominican Republic, the couple will make their home in Gold Hill.
