Mason Yates earns Eagle award

Mason Yates, 14, of Boy Scout Troop 5, received his Eagle Scout award Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church. Pastor Mitch Wilson and Scoutmaster Jerry Helms presented the award.
Mason has earned 30 merit badges and has served as Chaplin Aide. He is a member of Arrow of Light.
He is the son of Mike and Sue Yates of Rockwell.
