Brawley – West
MOORESVILLE — Katherine Rachel Brawley and Justin Ryan West of Mooresville were united in marriage May 12, 2012, at The Brawley Mansion. The Rev. Susan German officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony which was followed by a reception at The Brawley Mansion.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Brawley of Mt. Ulla and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.W. West of Mooresville and the late Mr. Charles Brawley and Mrs. Mary Brawley of Mooresville. She is a graduate of West Rowan High School and University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority and an NC Nurse Scholar. Katherine is employed by Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William West of Mooresville and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald “Whitey” Meadows of Mooresville and Mr. and Mrs. Donald West of Mt. Ulla. Justin is a graduate of Mooresville Senior High and Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is employed by SportsEdge.
The bride was escorted by her father, Mark Brawley. Attending as her maid of honor was Mallory Rodgers of Charlotte. Bridesmaids were Amanda Bolton of Atlantic Beach, Fla., Kerri King of Bronxville, N.Y., Kellie Kessler of Holly Springs, Nicole Graham of Salisbury, Caitlyn Masingo of Cornelius and Jessica Josey of Mooresville.
Best man was William West of Mooresville. Groomsmen were Dylan West of Mooresville, Ezra Brawley of Mt. Ulla, Timothy Sullivan of Kannapolis, Patrick Adams of Mooresville, Paul Denny of Raleigh and Nick Smith of Statesville.
Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple are making their home in Mooresville.
