Megan Elizabeth Spidell

Megan Elizabeth Spidell received her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law May 20, 2012.
A 2005 honor graduate of East Rowan High School, Megan participated in various organizations. In 2009, she graduated with honors from Catawba College, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Business Administration.
While at Catawba, Megan was involved in the Helen Foil Beard Society and Catawba Ambassadors; was a member of the cheerleading squad, president of the Catawba Political Science Association, a member of the Retreat Leadership Corps and president of the Class of 2009.
At Elon University School of Law, Megan was an active member of the Women’s Law Association, which she served  as Social Chair, the Family Law Society, Student Bar Association Social Committee; and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.
Megan is the daughter of Thurman Fl;esher of Hagerstown, Md., and Sondra and Kim Merrifield of Rockwell. She is the granddaughter of John and Sharon Spidell of Salisbury.
Megan will begin practicing family and criminal law at Scott Law Offices, PLLC in Kernersville upon passing the bar in July.
