Authorities are searching for more suspects in connection with a rash of burglaries in Rowan and Iredell counties.
Deputies are searching for 24-year-old Enrique Mense Ramseur, of Ballingarry Drive in Statesville, and 29-year-old John Willard Blackwelder, of Holly Street in Statesville, according to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Authorities said Thursday they had arrested Keenan Wade Hildbrand, 18, of States-ville, and were looking for Christian Dean Serrano Catarino, 25, of May Drive in Statesville.
Hildbrand was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny, felony larceny of a handgun and misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon.
He was in jail Friday afternoon under a $50,000 bond.
Hildbrand was arrested after a bystander saw a suspicious vehicle at a home on Cool Springs Road on June 29.
Deputies said the suspect got in his vehicle and swerved at the passing resident’s car.
The woman turned around and followed the suspicious vehicle, the report said, but the vehicle swerved toward her a second time and she lost it in traffic.
She gave deputies a description of the vehicle and authorities obtained warrants for Hildbrand.
Iredell and Rowan deputies raided a Statesville storage facility and a motel during the investigation and found more than $20,000 in stolen property, Iredell County officers said.
Anyone with information about Ramseur, Blackwelder or Catarino is asked to contact the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at 704-216-8700.
