Suspect in Concord slaying arrested

CONCORD — Authorities arrested an Albemarle man Tuesday night wanted in connection with a murder near U.S. 601 in Cabarrus County.
Chong Vue Lo, 35, of Hollywood Terrace, was taken into custody by Albemarle Police. He was charged with the murder of 37-year-old Pao Yang.
Yang, who lived on Rainbow Drive just outside Rowan County, was found dead in a vehicle at 2835 Armentrout Drive, Concord, about 5 a.m. Tuesday.
Concord Police investigators quickly obtained an arrest warrant for Lo.
Police said the shooting is the result of an ongoing domestic situation.
Lo was believed to be armed prior to his arrest, according to a press release.
Authorities are expected to release more information about the shooting today.
