MARION (AP) — A Marion man has been arrested and accused of molesting teen girls while giving them tattoos.
The McDowell News reported that McDowell County Sheriff’s Capt. Shanon Smith says Michael Wayne Smith, 44, is charged with four felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and three felony counts of statutory rape.
Investigators have identified four victims, who were in their early teens when they said they were attacked.
Capt. Smith says Michael Wayne Smith is accused of putting tattoos on the girl’s private areas and sexually assaulting them.
The girls said they were assaulted in the past two years.
It is unclear if the suspect has an attorney.
