SALISBURY — Authorities are asking Rowan residents for help in catching a woman accused of robbing a restaurant in New York. Deputies said the woman has close ties to the area.
Theresa Clinding is accused of stealing “a large sum of money” from an Indian restaurant in New Rochelle on May 26.
New York State officers notified the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office that Clinding could be in the area.
She is described as a black female about 130 pounds, between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9.
Warrants have been issued for her arrest.
