Thomas Kimball Kiger and Judy Morgan Kiger of Salisbury are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, Aug. 19, 2012. The Kigers were married Aug. 19, 1962, at First Baptist Church in Salisbury by Rev. W.J. Stephenson. Tom retired five years ago after 30 years in pharmaceutical sales. Judy is a homemaker. The couple’s children are Brian Kiger of  Danbury, Conn., and twins Kevin Kiger of Hickory and Steven Kiger of Conover. They also have three grandsons.
A family celebration is planned to be held in New York.
