Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bell were honored Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at the Providence Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in celebration of their 50th anniversary. The reception was given by their sons, Randy Bell of Rockwell and Rodney Bell of Salisbury.
The Bells were married at Providence United Methodist Church on Sept. 9, 1962, by the Rev. Terry Hammill. The former Betty Ann Morgan, Betty worked at Mason’s Department Store and retired from Rowan County Schools Food Service. Gary worked at Bendix and retired from Stanback Company.
The couple have five grandchildren, Hunter, Harrison, Laney, Rachel and Regan Bell.

160 Years of Marriage
Helping their sister, Betty Ann, celebrate her 50th anniversary are her sister, Elaine Morgan Gilland and her husband Bobby, and her brother, Herman Morgan and wife Betty Jean Hodgson Morgan of Sanford, formerly of Salisbury. Elaine has  been married 55 years and Herman 55 years.
