Customer appreciation day at Lexington Farmers Market

Lexington Farmers Market Customer Appreciation Day is Saturday, Sept. 29 from 8 a.m.-noon, located inside the Historic Southern Rail and Freight Depot, 129 S. Railroad St., Lexington. There is free parking at either end of the depot.
There will be live entertainment and free sample tastings from each of the food/farm vendors; specials and/or discounts at each vendor booth. There will also be music and free raffle tickets for a Farmers Market basket full of goodies to be given away before noon.
Available will be sweet and new potatoes, arugula, peppers, squash, green onions, cabbage, organic baby ginger and Shiitake mushrooms and much more. Look for fresh eggs and meats, jams and jellies, freshly baked goods, plants and planters, pansies, pottery, jewelry, organic skin care products and local honey (great for allergies).
