Perry Lowman and Carole Trexler Lowman of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 30, 2012. The celebration included a recent cruise with their family and a formal dinner onboard the ship.
The Lowmans were married Sept. 30, 1962, in Chester, S.C. A former N.C. State Trooper, Perry retired from Norandal USA in Salisbury. Carole retired from Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation where she was Admissions/ Marketing Director.
The Lowmans have four children, Dennis Lowman and wife Denise of Bismarck, N.D., Wendy Pressley and husband Donnie and Toni Welch and husband Andrew, all of Salisbury, and Christie Fulk and husband Wes of Faith.
They also have seven granddaughters, Whitney Peterson, Lindsay Misenheimer, Danielle Lowman, Hannah Pressley, Kayla Rummage, Kourtney Welch and Lanie Fulk.
Finally, they have one grandson, the eighth grandchild, Austin Fulk.
