The bride was escorted by her father, Greg Taylor and attended by Brandi Sifford of Faith as maid of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Maggie Brewer of Salisbury, Corie Brewer of Salisbury, sister of the groom Maranda Harrison of Salisbury, Kala Beasley of Salisbury and Ashley Suddeth of Charlotte.
Mark Harrison stood as his son’s best man. Groomsmen included Daniel Raney of Salisbury, Chris Galloway of Gold Hill, Andy Maben of Salisbury, and brothers of the bride Ellis Taylor and Eric Taylor of Salisbury.
Flower girl was Brynna Raney, and ring bearer was Maxx Rogers. Other attendants included Darynne Hefner and Holly Andrews, both of Charlotte.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Jackie Arey of Salisbury and Greg and Mitzi Taylor of Gold Hill and the granddaughter of Patricia Hughes of Salisbury, Eric and Shirley Hughes of Lancaster, Ohio, Mrs. Bessie Wagoner and the late Gregory Taylor of Salisbury. A 2006 honor graduate of East Rowan High School, Emily graduated magna cum laude from the University North Carolina at Charlotte in 2012. She is employed with Communities in Schools, Rowan Salisbury School System.
The groom is the son of Mark and Connie Harrison of Salisbury and the grandson of Robert Harrison and the late Rachel Harrison of Salisbury and Shirley and the late Jimmy Moss of Salisbury. Also a 2006 graduate of East Rowan High School, Levi is Assistant Plant Manager at Thompson Screen Prints in Salisbury.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Salisbury.
Special Recognitions
An engagement dinner was hosted by the bride’s parents at The Bistro in Concord.
A bridal shower was held at Morgan Ridge Winery hosted by Melissa Beasley, Stephanie Graham, Dallas St. Mary, Joyce Ketchie and Jackie Molenda.
An additional shower was hosted by Connie Harrison, Patsy Harrison, Laura Powell, Angela Honeycutt and Maranda Harrison at the home of the groom’s mother.
A bridal luncheon was held at the Salisbury Country Club and given by aunts of the bride Desi Weber-Neal and Suzanne Brewer.
