SALISBURY – Two Salisbury men and a juvenile were taken into custody after authorities said the group stole a mini bike from an outbuilding on Ryan Street.
A witness reported seeing the three take the small motorcycle and roll it into a nearby wooded area. When the group came out, the bike wasn’t with them.
Greg Pierre Martin, 21, and Demetrius Tyrone Whisonant, 20, were arrested on Hill Street. The juvenile was released into the custody of his mother.
Martin and Whisonant were charged with misdemeanor larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Both remained in jail Wednesday night under a $1,000 bond.
Officers said the bike was returned to its owner.
