SALISBURY — Authorities are searching for three brothers and convicted sex offenders who did not notify deputies of their new addresses after being evicted earlier this month.
Investigator J.A. Lombard said Jesse Brian Harris, John Willie Harris and Joseph Harris were staying with their mother at a home on Mt. Hall Road in Cleveland when they were evicted on Dec. 7.
The Harris’, who were convicted of separate sex offenses, did not contact authorities after leaving, Lombard said.
In 2008, Jesse Harris, 23, was convicted of two counts of felony indecent liberties with children, according to the Corrections’ department.
John Harris, 37, was convicted of indecent liberties with children in 1995, records show. Joseph Harris, 25, was also convicted in 2009 of indecent liberties with children.
Deputies ask anyone with information about the brothers’ location to contact the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office at 704-216-8700 or Crime Stoppers at 866-639-5245.
