Mr. and Mrs. Edward William Wagoner of Salisbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Gregory, to Philip Andrew Taylor, son of Ms. Elsie Marie Cavanaugh Taylor of Fayetteville and Doctor and Mrs. Robert Brown Taylor of Fayetteville.
Miss Wagoner is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Mills Cooper of Salisbury, the late Mr. Hubert Gregory Scarborough, Sr. of Orlando, Fla., Mr. Walter Price Wagoner of Salisbury and the late Mrs. Evelyn Albright Wagoner.
Mr. Taylor is the grandson of the late Mr. Henry Sylvester Cavanaugh, the late Bernice Aman Cavanaugh of Richlands and his fatherŐs extended family at the Methodist Orphanage in Raleigh.
Miss Wagoner is a graduate of The Madeira School in McLean, Va., Wake Forest University and the Wake Forest University School of Law. She is an associate with the law firm of Blanco Tackabery & Matamoros in Winston-Salem.
Mr. Taylor is a graduate of Terry Sanford High School in Fayetteville, attended North Carolina State University and graduated from Campbell University and the Duke University School of Law. He is an Assistant District Attorney with the Cumberland County District AttorneyŐs Office.
The couple will marry in March in Wilmington.
