?SALISBURY — Authorities are searching for a man who held a clerk at gunpoint and robbed Pit Stop convenience store.
The store, located at 2412 S. Main St., was robbed Sunday night at 8:30 by a lone suspect. The man walked into the store, went near the soda station and emerged wearing a mask and blue hoodie.
He demanded money from the clerk. He told her to put the money inside the bag he had.
He told the clerk he was out of work and was robbing the store because he “needed money to feed his starving kids,” said a Salisbury Police Department report.
