Rockwell woman charged with using fake prescriptions

ROCKWELL — A Rockwell woman used forged prescriptions in an attempt to obtain drugs, police said.
Crystal Jean Foy, 29, of Cannon Street in Rockwell, used a fake prescription to try to buy Adderall and Xanax from the Crescent Pharmacy in Rockwell, authorities said. Rockwell police arrested her Saturday.
On Sunday, Salisbury police filed additional charges against Foy for using a forged prescription at the Salisbury Walmart in an attempt to obtain Adderall and Valium.
Foy is charged with two counts of forgery and two counts of attempting to obtain a controlled substance by forgery. Police also charged her with misdemeanor larcerny for taking two blank prescription forms from Rowan Psychiatric and Medical Services.
She is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center under $4,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
