Police have identified a man who was found naked and bleeding behind a Morlan Park Road home. The 59-year-old man was arrested Feb. 1 after the homeowners believed someone was trying to break into the house.
A family member who made contact with the Salisbury Police through the school system was able to confirm his identity.
The man, who lives in the area, had blood on his hands, cuts to his forehead and cuts on the bottom of his feet. He was incoherent and taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center where he stayed overnight. Officials believe the man was incapacitated by health problems. He has since been released from the hospital.
