Thieves take more than $6,000 worth of jewelry from Kmart

SALISBURY — Authorities are looking for two men who walked into Kmart on Sunday and within two minutes stole more than $6,000 worth of jewelry from a display case.
Salisbury Police investigators say at 11:43 a.m. two white men wearing hooded sweatshirts arrived at the store, located at 815 E. Innes St., and popped open the rotating jewelry display case. The two put the jewelry into their pockets and minutes later, were gone.
Officials are working to obtain information from surveillance video. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Salisbury Police at 704-638-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 704-639-5245.
