Julie Eileen Helms of Greensboro graduated summa cum laude March 13, 2013, from Jones International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. A 1989 graduate of Salisbury High School, Julie earned an AAS in General Occupation Technology in 2009 from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, double majoring in Dental Assisting. She will begin the MBA program at Wake Forest University this fall. The daughter of Tony and Judy Helms of Salisbury, Julie’s significant other is Todd Christian of Greensboro. She is the mother of Christopher Coughenour, 21, Andrew Coughenour, 19, and Taylor Helms, 16. She has four grandsons, Ryan Coughenour, 3, twins Nathan and Michael Coughenour, 21 months, and Andrew Lee Coughenour Jr., 9 months.
