Police are looking for thieves who stole an aluminum ramp and other metal items from the Rowan-Salisbury School System maintenance shop.
Investigators say there were no signs of forced entry, but someone did take the ramp, some scrap metal and six metal door closures and the attached locks. It appears no other items were taken from the shop, located in the 500 block of North Clay Street. The stolen items were valued at $2,500.
The incident occurred sometime this weekend and was reported Monday, said Salisbury Police Capt. Shelia Lingle.
