Authorities responding to a domestic dispute between a couple in their front yard found a man there with outstanding warrants. The Salisbury Police went to a home in the 1900 block of Foster Road, after neighbors called about a couple fighting in the front of their home. Reports say Dionte Dayshaun Keaton, 18, was arguing with his child’s mother. This incident occurred Tuesday just after 2 p.m.
Keaton, of the same address, was charged with felony larceny, felony obtaining property by false pretenses and felony identity theft. The incidents for which the warrants were issued occurred in November 2012.
Keaton has since been released from the Rowan County jail under a $5,000 secured bond. He was convicted in July 2011 of resisting arrest and possession of a firearm by a felon.
