Joshua Billingslea

Joshua Billingslea, 18, of Boy Scout Troop 448, was awarded his Eagle Scout Award Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Coburn Memorial United Methodist Church. Scoutmaster Alfred Wilson made the presentation.
Joshua has earned 23 merit badges and is a member of Order of the Arrow. Presently serving as Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, he attended Philmont Scout Ranch in 2010; was awarded Outstanding Senior Patrol Leader for 2011-2012; and worked on the staff at Camp John J. Barnhart in 2012.
His Eagle Scout project included constructing a raised-bed community garden at Salisbury High School, where he is a student. Joshua is captain in Jr. ROTC and is a member of the National Honor Society.
Joshua is the son of Terri Hawkins of Salisbury.
