COLUMBUS, Ga. – Tamara Lynn May and John Michael Wright were united in marriage May 11, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Chuck Hasty officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at The Rivermill Event Centre.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by Lindsay Ettinger Morgan as matron of honor. Her bridesmaids were Ali Clark, sister of the groom Jennifer Wright Cooper, Jodie Rogers and Jessica Rivera.
Jack Wright was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were brother of the bride Andrew May, Allen Whitley, Dustin Worsley and brother of the groom Garrett Wright.
Emma Ossman and Izzie Cooper were flower girls, and Jackson Cooper was ring bearer.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Judy May of Gold Hill. Tammy received a B.S. in Athletic Training from Catawba College and a M.S. in Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University. She is employed by the Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy.
The groom is the son of Jack and Anne Wright of Fortson, Ga. Michael received a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University and an M.B.A. from Georgia Tech. He is employed by Ray M. Wright Inc.
Following a wedding trip to Dominican Republic, the couple are making their home in Columbus.
