Arielle Kaitlin Boone and David Lee Hoffman were united in marriage on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. The wedding was officiated by Rev. Mr. William Shaw, Deacon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Salisbury. A reception followed at the Rowan Museum.
The bride is the daughter of J. Michael and Deborah Boone, the granddaughter of Yoshiko and the late Hugh C. Clifton of Spencer and Ruth and the late W.E. Boone of Spencer. A 2008 graduate of North Rowan High School and 2012 graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, she is an administrative assistant at Charles Aris Inc.
The groom is the son of Paula and Phillip Scruggs of Sarasota, Fla. and Sondi and Dallas Hoffman III of Smithfield and the grandson of Donald and Nora Cartner of Salisbury, Dallas Hoffman Sr. of Wilmington and Diana Boatman of Milaca, Minn. A 2008 graduate of North Rowan High School, he studied computer engineering at North Carolina State University. David is a field service specialist with Dish Network.
The bride was escorted by her father, J. Michael Boone. Jennifer Lanier, of Statesville, served as maid of honor and Mandy Guyer, of New Bern, served as matron of honor. Flower girls were MacKenna Clifton of Salisbury and Abagail Carter of Statesville. Guest register was Ann Clifton of Salisbury.
