Mr. and Mrs. Charles “Pete” Hardin Sr. of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacqueline “Jackie” Denise Hardin, to Andrew “Drew” Darrell Jiles Sr., also of Salisbury.
Jacqueline is the granddaughter of Mrs. Verna Taylor Holman of Neptune, N.J., the late Lee O. Taylor and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hardin, all of Salisbury. A graduate of Salisbury High School and honor graduate of Dudley Beauty College, she is employed by MV Transportation.
Andrew is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Jiles and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jiles and the late Mr. and Mrs. E.V. Freeman, all of Dermott, Ark. A graduate of Dermott High School and honor graduate of RCCC with a degree in welding, he is employed by Daimler Truck of North America LLC.
The wedding is Aug. 17 at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Salisbury.
