Richard Lee Tipton and Sheila Willis Tipton of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 9, 2013. They were married June 9, 1963, in Gaffney, S.C.
Richard retired in 2002 from Brad Ragan/Goodyear Tire after 38 years of service. Sheila retired from the Rowan-Salisbury School System.
They have one son, Greg Tipton (wife Traci); and two grandchildren, Allison and Mitchell.
A reception was given in their honor at Landmark Church.
