Larry and Frances Edwards of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Katherine Edwards, to Thomas Warren Parr, both of Charlotte.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charles David Taylor of Salisbury and the late Mr. Charles David Taylor, and Mrs. Laurence Allen Edwards of Salisbury and the late Mr. Laurence Allen Edwards. A 2004 graduate of Salisbury High School and 2008 graduate of Meredith College, Mary Katherine is employed by J. McLaughlin in Charlotte.
The future groom is the son of Tom and Mary Lou Parr of Statesville and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Warren Francis Daly and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Joseph Parr. A 1999 graduate of Statesville High School, Tommy also studied at North Carolina State University. He is employed by Paragon Services Group.
The wedding is Aug. 3 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury.
