SALISBURY — The Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education will meet today at 5 p.m. to discuss and approve a continuing budget resolution.
The continuing budget lets the school system spend the money necessary to keep operating until the state finalizes its own budget. Once its funding has been decided, the school board will meet again to pass a 2013-14 budget resolution.
Also at the scheduled meeting today, the school board will meet in closed session to review applications for the superintendent vacancy.
The Board of Education meets at 110 S. Long St. in East Spencer.
