Three jailed in undercover drug sting

MOCKSVILLE — Rowan deputies arrested three in an undercover narcotics operation Friday.
Assisted by the Iredell, Davie and Lincoln County sheriff’s offices, authorities charged 41-year-old Mirlda Crowell Coish, 42-year-old Johnnie Dale Albea and 28-year-old Jenny Lynn Roush. Coish and Albea are both of Daniels Road in Mocksville. Roush lives at a home on Cone Drive in Woodleaf.
Deputies said the three were charged in connection with a morphine trafficking operation through the county.
Albea and Coish were each charged with trafficking more than 4 grams but less than 14 grams of morphine tablets.
Albea is on a federal supervised release following a drug-related conviction.
Coish and Roush were also charged with trafficking and conspiracy to traffic more than 4 grams but less than 14 grams of opium.
Additionally, Roush was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver oxycodone, found during the arrest.
Coish was placed in jail under a $35,000 bond. Roush was jailed under a $15,000 bond. Albea was taken into custody in Davie County.
