Jeff and Shari Moore of China Grove announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebekah Grace Moore, to Ronald David Sloop, of Mooresville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Theodore and Hazel Moore of China Grove and Carolyn Ostwalt of Statesville. A 2010 graduate of South Rowan High School, she attended Davidson County Community College. She is employed at Lake Norman Pet Grooming.
The future groom is the son of David and Cynthia Sloop of Mooresville. He is the grandson of Paul Hines of Mooresville and Margaret Sloop of Concord. A 2009 graduate of South Rowan High School, Ronald is employed at Piedmont Cheerwine.
The wedding is Aug. 17, 2013 at Crown Pointe Baptist Church, Kannapolis.
