William Stokes graduated May 11, 2013, from Wingate University with a Bachelors degree in Biology. He will attend Wingate University’s School of Physical Therapy in January 2014, pursuing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
He lettered four consecutive Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championship seasons as an NCAA Division II swimmer on the Wingate University Swim Team.
A 2009 honor graduate of East Rowan High School, he is the son of Glenn and Amy Stokes of Granite Quarry and the grandson of Paul and Alda Smith of Salisbury, Carolyn and Bill Haven of York, S.C., and the late Glenn Stokes, Sr.
