H. Frank King, III and Barbara Hawkins King of Salisbury celebrated their 50th wedding anniverary June 2, 2013.
The Kings were married June 2, 1963 at Shiloh Methodist Church in Granite Quarry. Frank spent a 37 year engineering career with Sonoco Products Co. in Hartsville, S.C. Barbara worked as a decorator and homemaker.
Frank and Barbara have three sons who live in Hartsville, S.C., Michael and wife Michelle, Jeffrey and Andrew. They also have two grandchildren, Shelby and Bradley.
They celebrated their anniversary with an Italian cruise and were honored by their children with a party at Prestwood Country Club in Hartsville, S.C. on June 22, 2013.
