Weaver – Graham

Anna Katherine Weaver of Salisbury and Jonathan Robert Graham of Mount Ulla were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Thyatira Presbyterian Church in Salisbury. The Reverend Dr. Sandra Kern officiated. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the church fellowship hall.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She chose a drop waist silk taffeta ball gown accented with a floral sash and French bustle.
She was attended by her sister, Elizabeth of Salisbury, who served as maid of honor, and bridesmaids Jennie Graham of Mount Ulla, sister of the groom, Olga Galeyeva of Chapel Hill and Susan Patterson of Salisbury.
Emory Graham, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jaymes Graham of Mount Ulla, brother of the groom, Garrett Campbell of Cleveland and Eric Patterson of Salisbury.
Flower girls were Zoie Raymer, Sarah Waller and Fiona Raymer, cousins of the groom. Luke Waller and Whitaker Raymer, also cousins of the groom, served as ring bearers. Katie Campbell of Cleveland and Jay Kim of Chapel Hill served as liturgists.
Guest registrants were Mary Mangum Weaver of Concord and Isabelle and Eva Grace Weaver of Nashville, Tenn., cousins of the bride. The cousins of the bride and Desirae Overcash of China Grove, cousin of the groom, served as acolytes.
Wedding music was provided by Mr. Ron Mercer, the church organist, Sabrina Roberts, pianist, and Kos Weaver, guitar soloist.
The bride is the daughter of Ken and Lori Weaver of Salisbury and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brown London of Laurel Springs, and the late Dr. and Mrs. George K. Weaver. Anna is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. She is currently completing her final year in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
The groom is the son of Emory and Susan Graham of Mount Ulla. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. E.K. Graham of Mount Ulla and Dwight Bassinger of Salisbury and the late Mary Bassinger. Jon is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently employed as a design engineer at General Dynamics in Greensboro.
Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Whitsett.
