KANNAPOLIS — A Kannapolis police officer and his wife are charged with possessing and distributing child pornography, according to federal court documents.
Steven and Tracy A. Webb appeared in federal court Tuesday. They are each charged with receiving, possessing and distributing child pornography and making false statements.
At their first appearances in court, a magistrate judge ordered them held in jail until their detention hearing on Friday, according to other media outlets. The FBI arrested the couple Monday.
Steven Webb has been a Kannapolis police officer since 2008.
